HEATH LEDGER

THE KINGS ROOM http://kingroom.com HAS A TRIBUTE SECTION ON THE LATE STAR OF BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN. PAUL LAYTOM WAS A HUGE FAN OF THAT FILM, AND HE LIKED HEATH LEDGER AS AN ACTOR. I AM SADDENED BY HIS DEATH, AND THE COVERAGE BY THE MEDIA. THEY ARE MAKING HIM OUT TO BE ANOTHER MARILYN MONROE. HE WAS FOUND NUDE BY THE BED. WHO GIVES A SHIT. HE WAS NOT EVEN AN AMERICAN CITIZEN. HELL I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND HIS GIBBERISH, WHICH HE CALLED ENGLISH. DON'T GET ME WRONG. IT IS SAD WHEN SOMEBODY WHO HAS ALOT OF MONEY AND IS AS YOUNG AS HE WAS TO TAKE HIS OWN LIFE, BECAUSE MONEY DON'T BUY HAPPINESS, BUT ENOUGH OF HEATH. I KNOW THAT THERE ARE FANS, BUT DON'T BE SAYING THAT HE WAS THE NEXT COMING OF CHRIST

As far as I know I have seen 2 of his movies: First Knight and The Brothers Grimm. First Knight was one of the worst "films" I have endured. I mean, I have nothing good to say about it. With the Brothers Grimm, it did not look like a movie I would really get into, but I am a huge Terry Gilliam fan so I had to see it anyway. It wasn't awful but it was my least favorite of his movies. While I was somewhat saddened by the loss of someone I am familiar with (especially being only 28), I don't think I can lament his theatrical career. I hope that doesn't sound cold.

I WAS BEING CYNICAL, BUT WHAT I WAS TRYING TO SAY IS THAT THE MEDIA IS MAKING TOO BIG OF A DEAL OF HIS DEATH. TODAY JANUARY 26 I WAS IN MY LOCAL TARJET AND THE PEOPLE MAGAZINE IS OUT FOR NEXT WEEK WITH THE HEATH LEDGER STORY. THIS IS LESS THEN 4 DAYS AFTER HIS DEATH WAS ANNOUNCED. THIS HAS TO BE SOME SORT OF RECORD.

I FOR ONE WAS COMMENTING ON HEATH LEDGER BECAUSE OF THE BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN RELATIONSHIP. FIRST NIGHT AND THE BROTHERS GRIMM ARE WHAT I CALL POPCORN FLICKS. YOU DO NOT EXPECT ANYTHING GREAT OUT OF THEM, BUT WHEN THE FILMS END AND YOU COMMENT TO OTHERS, THE FIRST THINGS THAT ONE REPLYS. THEY WERE OKAY...I'VE SEEN WORSE

I wonder... is all we will hear about on this site going to deal with or always have to reference Laytom & Ganz?

You've established quite well that these two men are - shall we say - "touched"? Let's not frighten your readers anymore, Father O'Malley!
